My name is Olivia Nicoll, I am a multidisciplinary designer with a love for experiential and environmental design. This spring I will be completing my BFA in Design and Digital Media at Laguna College of Art and Design.

Having a father working in the design world at Electronic Arts, I grew up in a design-oriented household. He introduced me to the life simulation game, The Sims. As a young child, this game fostered an early love for experiential and environment design. I spent thousands of hours virtually building experiences, crafting interiors, and mixing patterns and textures.

Nature is an inspiration in relationship to science and technology in design. I am constantly finding inspiration through my travels abroad and the outdoors. Whether it’s the hot springs of Yellowstone or the rugged limestone of Aix en Provence, nature is the strongest source of inspiration that fuels my passion for experiential and environmental design.
