John Wayne Airport
Sky Oasis Lounge
Collaborating with John Wayne Airport, I redesigned the traveler experience and created a premium airport lounge. This lounge is comprised of a central seating area, private restrooms, and a dedicated nursing room. The colors were made to match those of California’s distinctive coastal geography, with the overall goal of making airline passengers feel as if they are still present in the serenity of the California Coast. I brought this vision to life by rendering this space in 3D and creating physical material boards. Upon project completion, the design was presented to the John Wayne Airport Board and the Orange County Supervisor.

The main lounge was designed with the aim of providing an immersive experience, allowing you to feel as though you have stepped into a space that takes you away from the typical airport environment.
MAIN LOUNGE

The objective for the nursing room was to establish a serene, tranquil, and private space for mothers. I drew inspiration from the peaceful sandy beaches and the calming essence of olive trees.
Lounge Nursing Room

The goal for the lounge restroom was to create an atmosphere of luxury, inviting visitors to step into a moody and modern reinterpretation of the main coastal lounge area. Offering a seamless transition from one space to another while maintaining a consistent sense of elevated luxury.
Lounge Restroom

I always had a vision from the very beginning.
